IFSEL's Winter Reboot

for Teachers, Administrators, Counselors in Grades K - 8

hosted by Woodside Priory School, Portola Valley, CA

December 4-5, 2019

As the days grow shorter, teachers and students welcome opportunities to slow down, look within, and reflect on growth. Yet this time of year is often busier than ever.  It’s natural to start counting the days until winter break. What if you had the opportunity step out of the classroom, practice self care and connect with your own inspiration and resources so you end the year feeling refreshed and renewed?

IFSEL’s Winter Re-Boot is designed to foster a sense of re-connection to self, others and the natural world.

Workshop Goals

  • Re-fresh your teaching toolbox with creative strategies and lessons to activate social and emotional growth and learning
  • Re-connect with teachers from other schools who also care about supporting students to develop skills for self-regulation and resiliency
  • Re-align with your values and strengths so that you can approach teaching and learning with confidence and clarity
  • Re-gain inspiration to respond wisely to student challenges and conflicts
