Twisha is currently a high school sophomore and a returning YLC member. She was exposed to SEL for the first time in middle school, and strongly believes in its ability to develop resilience and communication skills in students. In line with this, she has directed and written an award winning (State level first-place) public service announcement addressing the stigma around mental health, and has been invited to present at an international competition. She believes that her experiences with SEL have helped her succeed as a math tutor at her school and a Catalyst (Anti-Substance Abuse) member. She hopes that she will be able to share her passion for SEL and make an impact on others as a YLC member.
