Our small, international team is hiring a Marketing and Communications Intern to support our work. Over the course of internship, you will work in a collaborative team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing and communication related to the education, wellbeing, and social and emotional learning sector.

Key Responsibilities include:

Marketing and Communications

  • Support the design and implementation of Marketing and Communications plans to meet IFSEL’s strategic priorities
  • Help to create marketing materials for upcoming events (Institutes, Workshops)
  • Help to create content (blogs, videos, micro-podcasts)
  • Help to create, plan and execute social media marketing campaigns

Research

  • Conduct research on specific SEL themes and issues as required by team

Youth Leadership Council

  • Provide leadership and administrative support to coordinate IFSEL’s Youth Leadership Council

Required skills/experience

  • Experience and passion for marketing and communications, especially for the education, wellbeing, social and emotional learning sectors
  • Current student or recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree (course work and/or demonstrated interest in Marketing and Communications or related field preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of social media
  • Driven and hard-working
  • Ability to take direction and also to take initiative
  • Ability to manage time and work on multiple projects
  • Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and/or Google Drive (Google sheets, forms and shared documents, as well as Google calendar)
