Meet the Team

Amanda Santos Valenzuela is the Wellness Department Head at The Winsor school. She has taught Wellness and Biology in public, boarding, international, arts school, and majority girl settings. She holds a B.S. in Public Health and a M.Ed. in Science Education. Amanda believes that school community wellness is deeply intertwined with equity work and strives to create meaningful curricula and programs that amplify student voice. Outside of schools, Amanda loves museums, Portuguese food, flea market treasure hunts, and aqua aerobics.
