Social-emotional learning (SEL) aims to enhance students' social-emotional competences through a comprehensive program involving school, home, and community. While global research on evidence-based SEL practices is active, the quality of intervention studies, essential for evaluating these practices, has been under-examined, particularly outside Western contexts. This study analyzed the quality and effectiveness of 22 peer-reviewed SEL intervention studies in Korea, using Evidence-Based Intervention (EBI) indicators and meta-analysis to calculate effect sizes.
