We at IFSEL are passionate about SEL! We want to learn more about your districts and schools, and share our SEL implementation experience.
We are offering 15 minute 'non-salesy' meetings for any educator.
To make this a productive 15 minutes, you can use our SEL Audit & Reflection Tool and we can review your responses when we meet or we can discuss other topics.
We promise to make this meeting worth your time.
Consider “What’s in a Name?” Think, write, and talk about the history, culture, pronunciation, and background of your names. This type of story exchange has the potential to build connection, understanding and a sense of belonging.
Setting up predictable rituals and other community structures gives opportunities for students to contribute to the smooth running of a classroom. These structures all apply to faculty meetings and other adult communities, as well. They provide the structures to promote voice and belonging and to encourage active participation which may increase agency and a sense of belonging and purpose for all.
The Venn Diagram visually prompts students to search for, record, and appreciate their similarities and differences. This exercise provides discussion springboard into how what we notice as similar or different about each other’s experiences and values can be respected, understood, and celebrated.

Offering insights, free tools, and actionable plans, this session will explore strategies to build an equity-rooted, whole-community approach to SEL. We’ll share practices and school case studies that focus on cultivating educator and student engagement and building a culture of care. You will leave with ideas to help SEL feel joyful, sustainable, and not just “one more thing to do."
This experiential two-day workshop is designed to upskill your practice and amplify your impact. Together, we’ll unpack the role of the advisor, tackle common challenges, and build a toolkit that promotes student belonging, connection, and success.
